Expat Insurance proudly awarded the 2016 Broker of the Year by Asian Banking and Finance Magazine.

Recognising Asia’s top banking and insurance companies, the annual Asian Banking and Finance Magazine awards honour companies who rise above the everyday industry challenges to deliver innovative solutions, indispensable services and exceptional customer experiences.

On July 20 2016, the Expat Insurance team was honored to receive the 2016 Broker of The Year Award. Judged by some of the industry’s most influential business experts including Mohit Mehrotra, regional head of financial services, strategy & operation at Deloitte; Liew Nam Soon, ASEAN managing partner at Ernst and Young; Karen Loon, partner – assurance, financial services at PwC; and Egidio Zarrella, ASPAC head of banking and capital markets at KPMG, the award recognised Expat Insurance’s commitment to delivering a unique, personalised customer-care service to its 25,000 private and business clients in the Singapore expatriate community since 2009.

Held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore, it was the biggest ABF Awards in history, with over 230 attendees, including 12 winning insurance companies from seven Asian countries.

John Ntatsopoulos

Over the course of his 34 years career, our CEO, John, have worked predominately in the area of insurance and financial services across major APAC markets, including Australia, NZ and across South East Asia. Over the last 9 years, he has been based in Singapore focusing mostly in Medical Insurance and Employee Benefits while working across Southeast Asia, particularly in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. John graduated from the University of New South Wales with a master’s degree in commerce. Off-work period calls him for a game of rugby, strumming a guitar, whipping up his favorite meal in the kitchen and riding a motorcycle across many different countries.
