Motor Insurance Claims

The Motor Claims Framework (MCF) applies to all Singapore drivers and vehicles involved in traffic accidents. The MCF requires all accidents to be reported within 24 hours, or by the next working day. Delay in reporting may prejudice your motor claim and your No Claims Discount.

 

A police report is required for accidents involving: injury, government vehicle or property damage, pedestrians, cyclists and all incidents outside of Singapore. If you have a non-accident related claim, please contact your insurer directly for further advice or instruction. Do not proceed with repair until authorized by the insurer.
